CSR Supervisor- Community Bank of Portage

Our community bank is looking for a CSR Supervisor at our Portage location to help lead daily teller operations, support branch staff, and ensure every customer receives friendly, accurate, and efficient service.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise, coach, and support teller staff to provide excellent customer service and accurate transaction processing.
- Oversee daily teller line operations, including cash handling, balancing, vault responsibilities, and adherence to bank procedures.
- Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and other routine banking needs.
- Help train new and existing team members on teller procedures, customer service expectations, and operational standards.
- Partner with branch leadership to support branch goals, identify customer needs, and promote a positive team environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous teller or retail banking experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead by example, support team development, and maintain a positive branch environment.
- Comfort working with banking systems and standard office technology.
- Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, security practices, and compliance expectations preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional banking, leadership, or financial services training is a plus.

Controller
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Controller to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong accounting records and controls, and serving as a trusted accounting resource across the organization. This position works closely with the Director of Accounting and collaborates with departments throughout the bank. This position is 100% onsite.
What You’ll Do
- Review invoices, accruals, prepays, tax estimates, and other accounting entries for accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
- Support the annual budgeting process and provide accounting and finance recommendations to leadership.
- Maintain and review accounting records related to the bank’s investment portfolio, including securities activity, accruals, safekeeping, pledging, and bond accounting reports.
- Assist with regulatory reporting, exams, audits, Call Report support, FRY reports, and Summary of Deposits reporting.
- Monitor the bank’s daily liquidity position, prepare cash position reporting, and support funding and collateral processes.
- Serve as a backup resource for assigned accounting and financial reporting functions.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Five or more years of related banking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting-related software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including spreadsheet and word processing tools.
