Senior Credit Analyst
BWD seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to join our team. This role assists in determining the creditworthiness of large, complex credit applications and ensures that all loans are underwritten with a high degree of accuracy and in accordance with policy. The Senior Credit Analyst also reviews appraisals and conduct property evaluations. In addition, the position is expected to train and mentor.
Job duties include:
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis to assess credit risk
- Monitoring credit portfolios through annual reviews
- Mentoring less experienced credit analysts
- Assisting the Chief Credit Officer with projects
Experience and Skills required for the position:
- At least 5 years previous Credit Analyst experience. Experience with large, commercial loans preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to effectively teach ideas and processes to a variety of skill levels
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be able to compile, coordinate, and prioritize work flow
- Ability to work cohesively with multiple departments
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Junior Credit Analyst
Consider our Credit Analyst opportunity if you seek a position that requires attention to detail, organization, and problem solving, and possess a degree or work experience in accounting, finance, or previous banking experience. The Credit Analyst inputs financial data into spreadsheets and programs, inputs information into loan presentation documents, and interprets and analyzes financial statements.
Job duties include:
- Organizing qualitative and quantitative information into a standard presentation format
- Perform analysis of business entities and individuals to assess their financial performance and condition, trends, key “drivers”, projections, and risks, with a focus on their ability to service debt.
Experience and Skills required for the position:
- Bachelors’ Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other business-related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to read and interpret personal and business tax returns and financial statements.
- Must be able to compile, coordinate, and prioritize work flow
- Ability to work cohesively with multiple departments
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
