Compliance Officer
Join our growing Compliance Team as a Compliance Officer with a strong focus on loan compliance. In this role, you’ll help ensure the bank’s lending practices meet federal and state requirements by maintaining and enhancing policies, completing loan‑file reviews and testing, and supporting key regulatory areas such as HMDA, TRID, Adverse Actions, and Flood. You’ll collaborate across departments to support regulatory changes, strengthen controls, and reduce lending‑related risk.
What You’ll Do:
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen regulatory loan‑compliance.
- Conduct scheduled and spot audits and summarize findings clearly.
- Perform loan‑file compliance reviews and testing.
- Support HMDA, TRID, Adverse Actions, and Flood compliance through monitoring, review, and filing.
What We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Accounting, Economics, etc.)
- At least 3-5 years Mortgage Loan Processing or Loan Operations Experience
- Strong ability to understand regulatory expectations and communicate them in plain, accessible language.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Staff Accountant
Join our high performing Accounting team as a Staff Accountant and play a key role in driving BWD’s financial success. This position requires attention to detail, organization, and problem solving. In this role, you will help service the bank’s bond portfolio and perform general accounting duties following established procedures and accounting practices.
What You’ll Do:
- Process general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable
- Complete assigned reconcilements
- Financial reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently at one time
- Timely, accurate, effective, and efficient work skills
- Degree or previous work experience in accounting, finance, or banking
